First I'd just like to commend Scottish Camping Guide for an excellent and easy to navigate site. Just back from 2 night break at River Tilt which my son & I thoroughly enjoyed. First impressions were of an immaculate site. The reception was friendly enough and we were given a bunch of keys which provided access to the toilet block. The touring area is well laid out with small fencing and/or hedges separating each tent/caravan. The toilet block was nearby and was very clean and the showers gave a good force of hot water day & night. Adjacent was the cleaning area for dishes and laundry wherein there was a reasonable 20 pence charge for hot water. Although there are signs saying no ball games, there were still plenty of young friends of my sons age who enjoyed a kick about. There is also a soft tennis court which provided hours of fun for my son as did the swimming pool. The charge of ?6 for the 2 of us wasn't too bad but may have become expensive had we been staying longer. We checked out another site when we visited nearby Pitlochry but it didn't look nearly as good as River Tilt. Overall this was an excellent site which I would highly recommend to anyone.

Visited the park June 2006, Very Clean little caravan site situated right on river tilt. The pitches are mostly under trees and Quiet a good size. If you dont have kids its fantastic, nice and quiet and a lovely restaurant just at entrance called the Loft. Bring something nice to wear to restaurant, Fine dining at a reasonable price. Not a great camp for kids though, No swing park, and signs up saying no ball games etc. Toilet blocks are lovley and clean, showers great, only complaint is that there was only 3 toilets and 2 showers for 30 pitches, so did get very busy in morning. Very near the town of Blair Atholl and Castle.

Enjoyed a short break at this site and found the site to be well kept with clean toilets and showers. The misleading part is the swimming pool lesiure facilities, yes there are these facilities on site but there is a ?4 per hour charge or 3 day pass for ?14 and a ?25 charge per week. One of the reasons we chose this site for a short break was the swimming pool for our disabled son but after we found there was an extra charge we never used this facility
