Good location used to break journey back from Scotland down to North East england, site looks good but unfortunately family in static next to the touring pitches were having a party outside and the noise was ridiculous , males and mainly females shouting and screeching at each other, and also singing ( out of tune) until after midnight, Dogs not allowed in bar which is fair enough but should be clear on website if dogs are allowed on site that they are not welcome in all facilities ,overall a good site and maybe we hit unlucky with noise but don't think we would risk it again

Having just visited for 1 night (stayed before) it was good to note that the on site bar has been upgraded and is family friendly, food appeared ok as well. The site toilets let it down as it all appears well until you go to the outdated toilers, which are freezing! For tent people it should be OK, for Motorhomers pitches are tight and soggy alyhough the hard standing is ample it is not massive. There are lot of seasonal pitches and a resident static population on site. All of the people in the bar are very friendly and my 2 boys played pool and had a good laugh

We spent a weekend at Lilliardsedge. The staff were very friendly, pub meals are top class, excellent service and a reasonable price. There is onsite entertainment but unfortunately not on the Sat night we were there, pity, we would have stayed in the bar longer if there was! The touring area is very spacious and obviously well kept. There is a park for children and was always well used. My only regret is that the toilet block could do to be upgraded, a bit cold and could have been cleaner, but, I would not let this stop me returning to this lovely, quiet site. The ajoining golf course would be a real bonus if you are keen on the sport!
