Having stayed on this site nearly every year for 40 years I now think it is the most expensive site in Scotland It is clean and tidy but that's about all it's got going for it It can be noisy from the motorway and the hotel next door In sept 2016 I was on my own and paid £21 a night the worse thing was being asked for another 20p for shower Its location is good for exploring but the site has no view or any other distinguishing feature I reviewed this instead on campsite uk and the following morning was aggressively confronted by the female owner who accused me of lying about how many times I stayed there and suggested I didn't stay there again a suggestion I'm happy to take and in future will drive past and I suggest others do the same

Helpful owners and a nice area. Everything was clean and tidy. Some Road noise but didnt bother us. The Hotel next door does nice food.

Compact site on the edge of Gretna (as opposed to Show more

Compact site on the edge of Gretna (as opposed to Gretna Green)mixture of hard standing and grass, recommend hard standing if it has been raining. The owner, a friendly fella, has a tractor for putting vans on the grass and in some tight spots. Toilets were nice and clean, campsite was tidy and quiet. Good for stop off. The area is not our cup of tea,if you need a quiet site in the area this would suit you.
