There were plenty of flat pitches for tents and lots of water stands and the occasional picnic bench. Toilets were clean, though the hairdryer wasn't working. Kids had great fun at the park. Very expensive however.

We visited Tantallon Caravan Park in July with our Show more

We visited Tantallon Caravan Park in July with our two dogs. The pitches were nice and level, and the ground took the tent pegs easily. The site was also very clean (toilet blocks seemed to be cleaned thoroughly three times per day!). The site is located just a few minutes' walk from the beach in North Berwick (nice sunsets when we visited), which was ideal for walking the dogs. Our pitch backed onto the gardens of a housing estate which meant there was perhaps a little more "domestic" noise than we are used to on some of the more remote sites that we visit. After visiting a number of different sites throughout Scotland over a number of years we found Tantallon to be the most expensive site that we’ve stopped at which is why we didn’t rate it highly under value for money.
