Campers have been welcome since the autumn of 2002 and the opening of the Speyside Way. A very peaceful site in grounds of a small hostel, can accommodate up to four two-man tents or their equivalent for a few nights. Campers have the use of a flush toilet and washbasin, hot water, washing up and bush shower, campfire area, picnic table and use of a wet weather shelter for cooking in if necessary. We also have a wood fired hot tub and sauna.

Clachtoll Beach Campsite is a touring caravan and camping site in Sutherland, North West Scotland. It is located 6 miles north of the village of Lochinver. As of 2007 the site offers 12 serviced pitches (water & electric hook-ups) along with the established tent areas. It is advised to book ahead at peak times for the serviced pitches.

At the foot of Ben Nevis and its tourist path the site is popular with walkers, climbers and others involved in outdoor pursuits. It is a large open site located on the shore of Loch Morlich. 7 miles from Aviemore on the road to the Cairngorm Ski Centre. 220 touring pitches with electric hookups and ample room for tents but book ahead in high season. Whilst we don't have a specific area we do allow campfires as long as they are not on the grass (plenty room on the shore) and a lot of our visitors like to have fires and BBQs there.
