Loch Chon Campsite |
Surrounded by forest and with wonderful views of nearby hills and mountains, Loch Chon is a gem of a discovery for outdoors fans. It’s fabled that the sheltered water, located between Kinlochard and Inversnaid on the minor B829 road, has a resident kelpie (water spirit), as well as one of the world’s largest populations of faeries.

This is a small, family run park with static caravans overlooking the bay. There are spaces for touring caravans, motor homes and tents at the top of the site. Electric hook-ups, modern toilet block with showers and dish washing facilities with ample hot water are available. There is a disabled toilet. Killegruer Caravan Site is situated on the west coast of the Kintyre Peninsula 12 miles north of Campbeltown and 24 miles south of Tarbert, Loch Fyne.
It enjoys superb views over the Atlantic Ocean towards the islands of Gigha, Islay and Jura.
The site caters for static and touring caravans, motor homes and tents.
The area around the site is home to a wide variety of wildlife, with seals, otters and even dolphins to be seen.

Isle of Gigha Camping |
The campsite is small, with no vehicular access to the tent pitches and limited turning and maneuvering space for campervans and motorhomes. Our tent pitches are smaller than some campsites and we are unable to accommodate very large tents. We also have to limit motorhome length onsite to maximum 7m.
