Having just spent a wonderful but breezy weekend at Beecraigs with 2 families I felt it would be nice to put in a review. The place is lovely with amazing forest/cycle/bridle ways all around the children had a ball running wild through the trees and also an amazing play area - huge. The toilets and showers where also wonderfully clean and warm. The only downside was that the staff where quite strict on the rules for strictly no gazebos or windbreaks. It was sunshine and showers while we stayed but a windbreak would have helped keep us from chasing plates etc when the breeze picked up. Also the BBQ area is a good 70 metres or so up on on windy area of paving behind the toilets in the car park?? you have a lot of walking back and forth to make a bbq. I would go back again but only if they relaxed the windbreak rule.

Visited last week for the first time,great Show more

Visited last week for the first time,great site,plenty for the kids to do.Toilets immaculate. Most of the trees have been cut down surrounding the site so it is now delightfully spacious and sunny(sometimes). Would not hesitate to recommend to any one. Will be returning as soon as possible.

Lovely site with excellent facilities, washrooms amazing! Great area for walks, wildlife. All pitches separated by low hedges, so good for privacy. Will certainly be back.
