Great Glen Way Inverness-shire
Many people undertake the Great Glen Way each year walking, cycling or kayaking. This official long distance route runs for 73 miles between Inverness and Fort William and can be undertaken in either direction. scottishcamping.com regularly receives a number of enquiries each year as to where camping is available along the way. Our advice is to access the accomodation page on the Great Glen Way website (Click on weblink above) which gives full details on official and unofficial sites or contact the Ranger Service covering the route. The Rangers Service details are listed above. The official campsites are listed in the normal manor on our website. If wild camping along the route please access the following advice pages http://www.outdooraccess-scotland.com/default.asp?nPageID=189 and http://www.mountaineering-scotland.org.uk/leaflets/wildcamp.html
