Our View:	Visited here in July 2005 and found it to be a lovely little site with great access to forest and beach walks and very close to the town.

Burghead Beach Holiday Park We had two nights here in August 2010 with two dogs and one 17 year old teenage girl. So Wi-fi was important for our daughter and at £5 for 24 hours (£20/week) seems par for the course. Dog walking fantastic, with beach one way, and harbour and village the other. Quiet, well presented site. Good solid well draining sandy grass so no hardstandings necessary. Friendly and welcoming owner. Toilets and showers were functional, spacious, spotlessly clean with loads of free hot water. Shaver sockets didn't work in gents. Presence of static caravans did not feel overwelming as it can on some sites. Swings and raised Wendy house for young children. We enjoyed our stay very much and would come back again. Burghead Beach Holiday Park Had a wonderful time in Burghead in April 10. It is brilliant for a holiday with dogs as it is right on the beach and next to forest with lots of safe off lead walks. Kids were happy going on long walks and playing on small playpark on site and climbing equipment in forest. Burghead lovely and quiet and safe so kids thought going to shop alone was a great treat. Elgin was a short drive and had lots to do if the weather wasn't kind - a great swimming pool which we used and an ice-rink. We are rebooking for another short break it was so wonderful. Burghead Beach Holiday Park Lovely location and very peaceful caravan site. Great for dogs, beach on doorstep and forest behind site which also leads on to beach. Weather was excellent and very warm (last week in June 2010) Burghead is a great area to walk around , a few pubs and a couple of shops. Pictish site is worth visiting and a great viewpoint to see dolphins and the Moray coast. Just up the road is Hopeman and then Lossiemouth both with wonderful beaches. All in all a graet area for a holiday. Ps. caravan was lovely too and dogs were very welcome, Thanks "Kerry" for that. Burghead Caravan Park we stayed here with our daughter for 5 days and we had a fantastic time. the site is quiet with a big shower/toilet block which was always very clean and during our whole stay we never saw anyone else in it. The warden was really friendly and helpful showing us a pitch we could easily reverse into being novices! Its great for the kids and the dog! a 2 minute walk to the miles of clean quiet beach through the forest or lovely long forest walks, this site is perfect to chill out and get away from the crowds. good fish and chips 2 miles away and the town of elgin a 10 minute drive away has everything you could need. we have just spent a week on the west coast and all we could think about was coming back here! Burghead Caravan Park Stayed here July 2007 it was our 1st trip with our caravan. The warden was really helpful and very friendly and for us the site couldn't have been better. The location is perfect and easy to find, and the scenery was fantastic. If all you want is a lovely clean quiet beach and forest walks, they are literally on the doorstep. no noisy club and all the shops you need 5 mins away in Elgin. toilet/showers were always clean and never busy. we had such a good time we are going back in 2 weeks!
