Lochranza Caravan and Camping Site
We are a small, friendly and quiet campsite at the North End of Arran, situated amid beautiful mountain and loch scenery. We offer a comfortable base whether you're exploring the island, walking the hills or Coastal Way, or simply relaxing. We offer facilities for tent camping, camper vans and caravans. We also have three wooden camping pods for hire. Our facilities include: heated washrooms with hot showers and hairdryers (no extra charge). The launderette has a washing machine, a tumble dryer, an iron and ironing board as well as a drying cupboard for wet outdoor gear. There is a fridge, a kettle and a microwave in the campers' room along with local information. The campsite is a level, grass site with hardstanding pitches and electric hook ups available. Wild red deer and red squirrels share the site, whilst golden eagles regularly soar overhead. We are about a mile from the Lochranza ferry terminal where you can take the ferry to Claonaig on the Kintyre peninsula. The Isle of Arran Distillery is just across the road from the campsite and the independently-run Stags Pavilion Restaurant is next door. Lochranza Campsite lies adjacent to Lochranza's 9 hole golf course. We have special golf offers for campers throughout the season- it's a great way to enjoy the scenery and a sport challenge at the same time. Families are welcome. We have clubs for hire. Young children can enjoy free putting.

Spent a week here some time ago and again with a group of young people doing their Silver DOE in early 2004. Great location for peace and quiet. Superb walks from the site. Shop onsite . Bar close by. Level campsite. Facilities new in 1998.
